About Me
I am a 30 something year old chap with an obsession for perfection. I
have had over 17 years of perfecting my obsession and I can now say
that I am getting rather good at it.
"What are you obsessed with Paul?" I hear you ask.
All things immaculate my dear customer!
My background was in the Auto industry, and I started from age 16 as a
young enthusiastic or some may say cocky apprentice in a vehicle
bodyshop. A couple of years and many pranks at my expense I ended up one
of the best in my industry. I moved from bodywork and started mechanical
and electrical and did a few more years and became quite good at this
also, I went from cars to lorries to small plant and then heavy plant.
I then took a slight change and moved to Stamford and started working at
a Stonemasons workshop as their Maintenance Manager. To cut a long story
short. I progressed and became their top machine worker. This came to an
abrupt end when the company moved to a different site miles away from
Stamford.
I then started the hardest job in the history of jobs. I did a role swap
with my wife and I became a househusband. This job alone in 3 years has
given me more experience, stress, laughs and satisfaction than anything
I have ever taken on in my life. My children are now at school and it
is time for me to start thinking about joining the ranks of paid workers
again. After months of deliberating my life forward from here, I came to
the conclusion that it is time to give something back and start my own
business. A business I can control. A business where I can do the
job right first time. A business that puts quality and reputation above
profit. This business. My business.
Its not just about making a caravan or motorhome look as good as it ever could. It's
about the look on the customers face when they inspect the whole job and
they say things like "I never thought it would be this good" or "It
actually looks better than when we pulled it out of the showroom!"
These things make all the sweat and hard graft worth it every time.
So give your caravan or motorhome something back for all the holidays its given
to you and introduce it to Tourershine.
